Located on a large corner lot and with an existing house located outside the boundaries of the village setbacks, this addition and rehabilitation project proved to be a challenge as it looked to transform and existing 1950 traditional house into a 21 Century Modern marvel. The new revised layout takes advantage of the ideal orientation on the site as the main building is oriented with the entrance on the North and the back of the house towards the South. A separate wing containing the "live" spaces of the house (Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, and two terraces) develops on the side of the main body along the N-S axis bringing privacy to the entertainment area in the back of the property. The presented renderings are Design studies. The project started construction in the Spring of 2021.
