Located in a central area of Bucharest, the building volume was dictated by restrictive zoning laws which were carefully parsed for loopholes in order to achieve a more interesting volume over the 6+2 floors. The 25,000 sqft building features: two underground parking levels accessed by car elevator, commercial space at the ground floor, three one bedroom apartments per floor from second through sixth. The building is topped by a two story high penthouse with massive terraces for the owner of the building. The drawings illustrate the approved version by the building department.
